Support Bitcoin Education in the Global South

The scholarships for the Bitcoin for Fairness Train-the-Trainer program are funded by donations. Please consider supporting BFF's efforts to scale Bitcoin adoption in the Global South by donating seats for aspiring educators and community builders.

Since the launch of Crack The Orange on Aug 21, 2023 we received and reviewed 110 applications from aspiring Bitcoin educators and community builders from 28 countries. We granted 72 scholarships and sent an invitation to sign-up on CTO. 56 students signed up and started their 12 month scholarship.

Amongst them are the founding members of educational and community projects Bitcoin Dada in Kenya, Bitcoin Ubuntu and Bitcoin Ekasi in South Africa, Bitcoin Victoria Falls in Zambia, Bitcoin Reach in Zimbabwe and the core team of African Bitcoiners. Most participants are from Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

13 students finished the course with a certificate of completion by CTO.
By country: 5 Ghana, 2 Uganda, 1 Nigeria, 1 Burundi, 1 Tanzania, 1 Togo, 1 Zambia, 1 Zimbabwe

Every amount counts! Be aware donations are not tax deductible and go directly to BFF Uganda. In case you need a company invoice, please send us a message.

Exception for US citizens, who want to donate over USD 5,000 you can do so via a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the USA. Please send us a message for more information.

What Our Graduates Say About The Program

Belyï Nobel Kubawayo, Burundi

★★★★★ (5/5 Stars)

"The training was incredibly comprehensive and covered nearly all aspects related to Bitcoin. Moreover, it is a more technical training than the others I've done, and that's its unique aspect. What stands out the most is how engaging the training is; it never bores me. The varied presentation styles make it truly captivating and motivating to continue watching."

Barakana Guy Eudes, Burundi

"I just finished the course. Frankly, it is a comprehensive course. I studied a lot of things, and what was new to me was the detailed explanation of the concept of security."
